Born in Osaka in 1942 as the second son of Yasumi Nidai (Yasumi II), 37 times selected for Nitten Exhibition Special Prize, Not inspected 4 times as a judge at the Japan Contemporary Craft Exhibition The Yomiuri Shimbun Award, Member's Memorial Award, Chairman's Award of Contemporary KOGEI Awarded the Mayor's Prize at the Osaka Craft Exhibition and other awards.
Director of the Ibaraki City Art Exhibition Jury, presented works to the Prince Takamado family.
Awarded by the Governor of Osaka Prefecture twice for distinguished service to crafts. Professor, Osaka University of Arts, Graduate School of Arts, Department of Crafts Currently a member of Nitten, a councilor of the Contemporary Craft Artists Association, and a member of the Casting Artists Association. Vice President of Osaka Craft Association

About    Nitten Exhibition  

The Nitten is the most popular and prestigious  art organization in Japan, with only best artists from all over Japan participating in its annual exhibitions. It started and 1907 by Japanese Imperial Ministry of Education  and was known then as Bunten show , later on it was renamed again in to Teiten  and after reorganization of Imperial Art Academy n 1937, became known is Nitten show.
 Now remains as the most recognized and prestigious Art promoting exhibition in Japan.
