This is a vintage 800 silver (marked) picture frame from Italy.  It is rectangular with a sturdy wood easel back, and can accommodate portrait or horizontal photos. It features a beautiful repoussé design of flowers and scrolls, and has fancy corners. It is hallmarked on the edge with 800  807 AL, which indicates it is 800 silver made in Alessandria, Italy between 1944-1968.  The frame is 4 1/2 by 6 1/2 inches, and the opening for the photo is 3 3/4 by 5 3/4 inches. It is in excellent condition.
