Ruger American Reduced Power Trigger Spring 1.5 lb

Old Beaver Gunsmith specializes in practical trigger upgrades for bolt-action platforms. This reduced power trigger spring is designed specifically for the Ruger American trigger system and is tuned for a noticeably lighter pull in the roughly 1.3–2 lb range in typical setups.*

The manufacturer lists the stock trigger spring as adjustable from about 3.5–5 lb. On our test setup, the lowest practical setting with the factory spring was around 4 lb. After installing this light spring, our test results showed a typical range of about 1.3–2 lb.*

Every trigger system is different and final pull weight can vary depending on the individual setup and how the trigger is adjusted.
