This is a USGI WWII M1943 OD Field Jacket Hood in unissued condition. The M1943 hood allowed for added wind protection on field jackets to be worn under the helmet.. The button attachments attach to the shoulder epaulets and collar buttons. Has a sewn in instruction label. The hood also has a sewn in closure string that fastens around the face giving extra wind protection.
Size: Medium (Will fit 38-42 size field jackets)
