GENERAL TIRE

from 1937-1939

These 16 advertising pages were by the General Tire & Rubber Company, of Akron Ohio.

Most ads are for the Dual 10 tire, with a straight tread pattern. 1 ad is in black & white, 4 ads are in 2-color (pink and black). The rest are in full color. They show a large balloon tire mounted on a car’s trunk or fender well. Most have happy people standing around.

The ads are full page, each approx. 7” x 10”, carefully removed from actual 1937, 1938, or 1939 magazines.
