This is a Stunning and Desirable piece of Vintage 1980's British Gold Jewellery. Made by Bracelon Ltd. in 9ct Yellow Gold it is a Solid Hinged Bangle with a Hook Over Fastener and a Safety Chain. The Bangle has been Engraved on the Front Half with a Leaf Design while the Back Half is simply Plain and Polished and there is a Ropework Pattern along the edges. It is Fully Hallmarked on the inside of one Half as photographed with B Ltd. for the Maker's Mark, the Crown Mark for Gold, 375 for the Gold Purity, the Anchor Mark for Birmingham Assay Office, the Date Letter P for 1989 and it has been electronically tested at a precious metal refinery to confirm the Gold Content. The other Half of the Bangle is also Hallmarked with the Crown Mark for Gold and 375 for the Gold Purity. It weighs 15.2g, measures 6cm across internally at the widest point and the band is 8mm wide. The Bangle is in a used but good condition for its age with no damage and just some minor surface wear. As can be seen from the last photo the Bangle is fractionally out of shape but it will quickly mould to a new wrist so does not detract at all but is mentioned for accuracy.
