The timing belt included in the HEPU PK06551 kit has Continental (often branded as ContiTech) printed on it. [1]
While HEPU manufactures its own premium water pumps in Germany, they source their belts from top-tier Original Equipment (OE) suppliers to package their complete kits. Depending on the specific manufacturing batch, you will see either: [1, 2]
  • Continental / ContiTech (The primary supplier for this specific VAG kit)
  • Gates (Occasionally used as an alternative premium OE partner) [1, 2]
Both are original equipment suppliers for Volkswagen and Audi, ensuring the belt meets exact factory standards. [1]
The HEPU PK06551 kit contains a total of 15 individual pieces.
This total includes the primary mechanical parts and all of the required single-use replacement hardware:
  • 6 Mechanical Parts: 1 timing belt, 1 water pump, 1 tensioner pulley, and 3 deflection/guide pulleys.
  • 9 Hardware Fasteners: 2 securing nuts and 7 replacement structural bolts.
