Here is a line ofVilleroy & Boch seldom seen in the United States, and we are the poorer for it. It is German porcelain manufactured by Villeroy & Boch subsidiary Gallo. This pattern is "Das Apfelchen" (La Petite Pomme) or, in English, The Little Apple. This is the highest quality porcelain, heavy and substantial, and widely sold in Germany.  This line is highly collectible and different from Villeroy & Boch available domestically in the US.
