On October 1, 1975 Muhammad Ali and Joe Frazier met for the 3rd & final time in the historic 'Thrilla In Manila.' Ali emerged as the victor in what was clearly one of the greatest fights of the century when Joe Frazier could no longer continue. 

These special medals or coins were made in the Philippines to commemorate the fight. This one up for sale measures about 1.5 inches in diameter & weighs about 23 grams. It is gold in color & pictures both fighters' raised images on the front & a map of the Philippines on the back w/ the words "Manila, Philippines".   Many original 1975 versions (like this one) contain an error, spelling Frazier’s name as "Frazer" on the metal.
