First officially published in November 1800, navigation charts produced by the UK Hydrographic Office are an essential for sailors the world over and have an instantly recognisable, almost iconic, design. Admiralty Chart 262C, covering the western approaches to Guernsey. 


DATE PRINTED1965, dated on the print, updated from a survey first published in 1863.

SIZE: The printed area of the view, including titles, is approximately 100 x 67 cm (38.5 by 27.5 inches) (large) plus margins and a centre fold as issued.  

ARTIST/CARTOGRAPHER/ENGRAVER:  Published by the Admiralty, 1863 with updates to 1965.

TYPE: Vintage lithograph printed on thick paper.

VERSO: There is nothing printed on the reverse side.

CONDITION: Good; suitable for framing. Please check the scan for any blemishes prior to making your purchase.
