This comes beautifully decorated with pink roses and other flowers, within decorative cartouches on the front, back and sides of the vase. It all seems to be hand painted. The vase is further decorated with black enamelled, scroll-like detail, particularly on the front and on the handle. Such wonderful detail! There is also green dots of enamelling to the decoration below the rim and under the front cartouche. This decoration is exquisite, and all complete apart from a tiny, tiny piece of the black under the rim, close to the handle. 

The other amazing thing about this lovely vase is its wonderful condition. There are no chips, cracks or repairs. There is no obvious sign of crazing that I can see. This is so lovely, I would like to keep it for myself! However, making a living is the order of the game, so I have to console myself with owning it for just a wee while.
