What is the difference between regular soap and antibacterial soap?

Antibacterial soap, known also as antimicrobial or antiseptic, is a cleaning product with active antimicrobial ingredients, which are not found in other soaps. The antimicrobial kills the bacteria and prevent its growth.

Regular soap’s main characteristic is to decrease water’s surface tension and to clean dirt and oily surfaces. It does not contain antibacterial chemicals but it does kill disease-causing germs. However, if hands aren’t washed thoroughly enough, it could be not strong enough to kill dangerous bacteria.

100% UK manufactured product.
