The Sweden 20 Kronor Banknote was Issued by the Sveriges Bank in 1991. This blue banknote features Nobel Prize-winning writer Selma Lagerlof. It also shows a horse and a carriage, the introduction to Gosta Berling’s Saga, and the Varmland landscape with forest and lake. The reverse depicts a scene from ‘Nils Holgersson’s Wonderful Journey through Sweden’ with Nils and Marten goose flying over the flatlands of Skane in southern Sweden. The note contains a solid security thread. Its watermark reveals a Selma Lagerlof pattern. It is 130 x 72 mm in size and is signed by the bank chairman Per Borg and Governor Bengt Dennis. This particular banknote is in uncirculated condition.
