Antique 1910's Leather POWDER COMPACT Embossed Silver Plate Automobile Scene
Made in U. S. A.
Description:
This stunning used powder compact dates to the Edwardian Period of history.  The automobile in the embossed silver-plated scene dates to 1900-1915.  In the scene there is someone driving and 2 people sitting behind.  Inside the compact there is a space in the brown leather pouch for loose powder and a space above it for a small photograph.  The name "Charlotte Heinz" is printed inside this small space where a photo could be. There is no powder in the compact and no powder pat.  The snap on the compact works fine, but great care needs to be taken opening and closing the compact, as the connection between the metal top and the leather pouch is fragile.

Dimensions:  leather pouch 2 3/4" diameter, item is 3" diameter at its longest point.

Condition:

In GOOD to VERY GOOD condition.  Leather shows wear around the edges; silver plating is partially worn off; compact snap works, but compact has a fragile connection to the leather section.  Please see all photos for a complete description.
