The Comoros 500 Francs Banknote was issued by the central bank of Comoros between 1984 and 2004. This multicolored banknote features two women wearing a shiromani. It also shows the administrative building in Mutsamudu. The back of the note depicts two women wearing a shiromani with fruit baskets on their head and with the Moheli island in the background along with palm trees and pirogue boats. It does not have a security thread but its watermark depicts a crescent moon on a Maltese cross. The note is 140 x 70mm in aize and is signed by Ahmed Abdou and Mohamed Halifa. This particular paper bill is in uncirculated condition.
