2023 MLB TOPPS NOW® #87 ⚾️ Jordan Walker RC HOF Ted Williams ⚾️ St. Louis Cardinals Boston Red Sox
Back of card:
St. Louis Cardinals rookie outfielder Jordan Walker has been hitting in bunches since his debut back on March 30th, and it's starting to rewrite some Baseball history. The 20-year-old has now tied Hall-of-Famer Ted Williams for longest hit streak to begin a career for a player age-20 or less. Like Williams back in 1939, Walker has hit safely in his first nine career games, second only to Eddie Murphy, who hit in 12 straight for the Philadelphia Athletics in 1912. With one more hit, Walker will have the record for longest streak to start a career in
Cardinals history.
