On the handle there is a medallion with the words:

‘Warranted Superior Dieu et mon droit’

Translated means:

God and my right (the motto of the British monarch).

 

This saw will look spiffy once it is restored.

 

Has wear from use including dust, stains and rust.

there is rust on the blade. The logo has faded and is hard to read.

Will need to be sharpened. I also see some paint drips on the blade. Handle has small nicks/ scratches but nothing major. this hand saw is in good vintage condition, in my opinion.
