The mechanism has turning resistances. It is necessary to turn the wheels manually to make the propeller and the cameraman turn. The cameraman tends to get stuck, so it is necessary to insist on the rotation of the wheels. I think that it rubs on the transparent wall, slowing down its movement (which explains the marks on the wall above the cameraman's head).

If this model was a biplane, it could be a Beechcraft UC43 Traveler.

Very nice plane, uncommon, with traces of wear, small dents in the sheet metal and oxidation points on the underside of the wings and the cabin.
