Otostick Baby is a corrector for protruding ears made from silicon and medical adhesives. It adheres to the ear and the contiguous part of the head, providing optimum positioning of the ear and, specifically, the cartilage so both develop properly.

From corrector size to its hardness, the features of Otostick Baby adapt perfectly to the baby’s ear (starting from 3 months). Otostick Baby is suitable for use with delicate skin (e.g. with babies).

  • In addition to the permanent corrective effect, in babies and children between 3 months and 6 years of age, Otostick acts preventively, avoidingthe ears from being placed in an inappropriate position.
  • It is easy to use, discreet, as it is made of transparent silicone, and comfortable.
  • If fitted correctly, Otostick baby ensures that the duration of the corrector and the position of the ear are optimal, therefore it is important to follow the instructions indicated in the leaflet.
  • One of the key steps in the placement of Otostick baby, is the cleaning of the area with an astringent product, removing fatty wastes caused by sweat and moisture.
  • It is appropriate to provide for at least 4 hours after placing Otostick baby to wet it or play sports that will cause sweating of the skin.
  • There should be no hairs under the corrector.
  • Each package contains 8 correctors + a protective baby cap.
  • Recommended use from 3 months of age.
  • Each corrector has an estimated duration between 3 and 7 days.

Directions

  1. Prepare the area by cleaning the skin from any traces of moisture, dirt and fat.
  2. Determine the exact point where teh correction device is to be placed before peeling the adhesive paper backing
  3. Peel the adhesive papel backing of the part that will go on the ear and stick the correction device into place.
  4. Peel the adhesive papel backing of the part that will go on the head. Stick the piece by gently pressing it straight down.

Important Considerations:

  • The adhesive should not be placed in the fold between ear and head.
  • As with any other ‘correction-type’ product, aan adaptation period may be necessary.
  • In some cases, the area may need to be shaved to achieve a better result.
  • It is advisable to moisten the exposed area and before putting a new one in place. Do not forget to eliminate all grease prior to putting the new Otostick corrector in place.
  • If the skin becomes irritated or arash appears, stop using the corrector and consult your doctor or pharmacist.

Cautions

Store in a dry place below 25°C.

Do not place on folds of skin (e.g. where ear meets the skin of the head), but on a completely flat surface. If you place it on folds of skin, water or sweat can seep in and cause irritation.
Choking Hazard – Contains small parts that can be swallowed and cause suffocation. Adult supervision needed at all times.
