A rare figurine (bust) of the Soviet era, made at the Leningrad Art Casting Plant "Monumentskulptura" in 1962. Agitation monument, monument to Yu.A. Gagarin. On the back side of the monument there is an original stamp - the name of the sculptor G.A. Chernienko, as well as the name of the plant with the year of manufacture (Monumentskulptura 1962) and the country (USSR). On the front side, in addition to the name (Yu.A. Gagarin), there is an inscription "The first cosmonaut in the world." A rare monument in bronze was produced in a very limited edition (mostly made of silumin). The sculpture is complete and in very good condition.
