The Armenia 100 Dram banknote is part of the family of notes issued in 1998 which comes in a completely new design and with upgraded security attributes. This particular banknote is in uncirculated condition. Its obverse side features the Armenian astrophysicist Viktor Amazaspovich Ambartsumian and a map of the solar system with planets. On the back of the note is the Byurakan observatory building which is nestled on Mount Arakadz. A telescope is also shown on the reverse side. This 122 x 65 paper banknote has a solid security system. It also has a watermark consisting of the countrys Coat of Arms pattern
