It traces its history from January 16, 1712, when Peter I signed a decree on the creation of the first Engineering School. The Enamel and brass have perfect - completely free of the usual chips or flaking. The ridges are extremely well defined and crisp, nice, even patina. It is was awarded many years ago, but anyway this medal still in a good condition in corresponds to regarding its age. A great exemplar to add to your collection! The best indication of condition is to study the photographs carefully.
✅ AWARD is VERY ATTRACTIVE, even patina on both sides indicates the authenticity of the product. The details of the bas-relief are perfect and extremely, practically all of the original enamel finish is present. A superb example all through. The award retains beautiful luster everywhere. There are a no bumps or scratches especially visible. The twist and screw device are original and completed. The best indication of condition is to study the photographs carefully, photos are part of the description.
✅ The item you are bidding on is Brass Russian Military Regiment, Screw Back Wings-Pin. Made in Brass with high quality Enamels. The production of this badges believed to have started after 1980-1990 year. The badge is in good decent condition, at least for an airborne badge. There are not chips to the enamel under the star and under the feet of the paratrooper. The enamel on the badge however is still intact. All the enamel on this piece is 100% ordinal – there are no enamel repairs. The screw post is original, of full length measuring nearly 49 mm long, and fully functional. The screw plate is a replacement but it fits the screw perfectly.
