2006 2007 Can-Am Outlander 400 fitment requires a special installation. Refer to the ?Installation? tab at the bottom of this page to see all the details

Battery condition is extremely important. No voltage regulator can work correctly with a bad or weak battery. Always fully charge your battery before performing any charging system tests or replacing parts. If there is any doubt, have the battery load tested or replaced.

Please note: that there are multiple regulators possible for some Triumph models. Please take a look at the list below to see if your triumph model is there, if so if it's the right part:

Bonneville from 2017 to 2020 with a VIN Lower than 513324. If you have a HIGHER VIN you should look for parts # RM30405 / RMS020-103436

Street Triple Standard 2008 to 2017 This part will only fit on Street Triple Standard with a VIN higher than 456777. For models with a VIN BETWEEN 354282 and 456776, please refer to part # RM30104 and for models with VIN lower than 354281, please refer to OEM T1300570


Street Triple 1994 to 2018 : This part will only fit on Street Triple with a VIN higher than 499574 and a Non ABS version or higher than 499957 and a ABS version. If you vehicle has a VIN between 210445 and 461331, please refer to OEM T1304045. If your vehicle has a VIN between 461332 and 499573 and a non ABS version, refer to OEM T1300165. If your vehicle has a VIN between 461332 and 499956 and a ABS version, refer to OEM T1301564. If you vehicle has a VIN BETWEEN 141872 and 210444, refer to part # RM30507 / RMS022-106230. If you vehicle has a VIN lower than 141871, please refer to OEM T1300021. If your vehicle has a carburator, please refer to part # RM31000.

Street Triple 2019 to 2020 This part will only fit on Street Triple Standard with a VIN higher than 456777. For models with a VIN BETWEEN 354282 and 456776, please refer to part # RM30104 and for models with VIN lower than 354281, please refer to OEM T1300570

Street Triple R 2008 to 2020 This part will only fit on Street Triple R with a VIN higher than 456777. If your vehicle has a VIN BETWEEN 354282 and 456776, please refer to part # RM30104.

Other Triumph models in the fitments list below that are not mentionned before are a direct fit and do not have any restrictions.

There are two possible regulators for the Can-Am Outlander 1000 2012 and many Outlander Max 500 models. This regulator fits mostly the North American versions of these models. For the European / International versions, the right regulator is part RM30322. Always check in the 'Fits models' section and please compare to your original part before buying.

Before installing your new voltage regulator rectifier;

• Check the AC output of the stator.
• Replace any burned or corroded connectors on stator and regulator/rectifier
• Check and repair any melted wiring.
• Use hi-temp dielectric grease on all connectors.

2006 2007 Can-Am Outlander 400 Installation Particularities

If you are using this regulator for 2006 2007 Can-Am Outlander 400 fitments, it will function perfectly fine. You will need convert your vehicle wiring to our included mating connectors.

From your original stator connector, the outer 2 Yellow wires will be spliced into 1, the center 2 Yellow wires will be spliced into 1, and the opposite outer 2 Yellow wires will be spliced into 1. These go into our Grey connector in any location, there is no order.

The Red Battery + goes to the inner terminal of the Black connector. The Brown Battery - (ground) wire goes to the outer terminal of the Black connector. The center terminal of the black connector is not used.

You will need relocate or build a mounting bracket for this regulator, it will not mount like the original regulator for this application.
