"Paper-cuts of Nanking" - Original portfolio album compiled and published in 1956 by The Art Service Department / Union of Chinese Artists and distributed by Guozi Shudian, Peking.
The portfolio contains 20 red paper-cuts mounted on twenty leaves of heavy white stock with measures 29 cm x 22.5 cm (11.4" x 8.8"). Housed in a cloth and decorative paper-covered portfolio, with bone clasps.
On interior are also 2 small multi-lingual describing the Nanking and Chinese art of paper-cuts, each around 20.5 x 15 cm, with texts in Chinese, Russian, English, French, and German.
