Hello! Thank you for visiting my auction. Please check out my other listings, as I'll be listing a HUGE lunchbox collection in the next few weeks. This will be one of the largest and best condition collections to hit the market since the Joe Soucy collection from several years ago. In fact, quite a few of these boxes were purchased in that auction. I've also got a ton of toys (most are AFA graded), so please check it all out. I’ll combine shipping on multiple wins to help you save money.
Up for auction is an immaculate HIGHWAY SIGNS (or AKA TRAFFIC / STREET SIGNS) lunchbox produced by Ohio Art in 1972. The lunchbox is GEM MINT with just a very tiny amount of shelf wear present and the last remnants of a price tag (see pic of top of box). It should come off easily. This box looks like it just came off the store shelf in 1972. There was not a thermos issued with this box. There were two versions of this box and I have both listed. This is the version with the stoplight on the front panel. Both are very hard to find in this amazing condition, though I've been told that this is the rarer version of the two styles. The hardware is shiny and looks brand new. It's UNUSED and displays beautifully! This will satisfy the pickiest collector's expectations and belongs in a high end box collection! Please see all pics and ask any questions prior to buying. Shipping covers all packing & shipping costs and insurance for the full purchase value. I take pride in my packaging, as I am a collector first and know how frustrating it can be to get something that's damaged because it was poorly packed.
