The Russia 2,000 Rubles Banknote was released by the Bank of Russia in 2017. Featured on the obverse of the blue banknote are an unknown building, the bank seal, a cable-stayed Russian Bridge on the Eastern Bosphorus Strait in Vladivostok, a gold SPARK bridge, the Eastern Federal University Building in Vladivostok, and a QR-code. The reverse of the banknote features a rocket on a launchpad at the Vostochny Cosmodrome in Amur Oblast. Also on the reverse is the map of eastern Russia. It has a 5-mm wide holographic windowed security thread with a demetallized 2000. The banknote also contains a watermark that reveals a bridge and an electrotype 2000. It is 157 x 69 mm in size and is in uncirculated condition.
