Antique 19TH C. Qing Dynasty Hand Carved Scholar's Wood Box w/ Base & Cover

Beautiful antique condition, only one small old chip on the edge of base (see photo #12), other than all in mint condition.

Fine made with widely scalloped edges, both cover and box, box and base fit together perfectly.

Hand Carved a chinese landscape painting on the cover, marked “仿元人之法” which means the painting method imitated the four painting masters of Yuan Dynasty (1271-1368).

I don’t know much about the woods, the box probably made by Huanghuali wood, the base maybe rosewood or some hardwood, no guarantee, please consider to buy it according your knowledge.
