This is a very nice 1923 The Rocket Famous Knock-Outs card of Jack Johnson vs. Jess Willard in Ex condition. To my knowledge, this was one of the first card sets with a glossy surface. It depicts the famous, or infamous fight in Havana, Cuba that ended Jack Johnson's reign of Heavyweight Champion of the World when he was knocked out by Jess Willard. This card would be Ex-Mt, if not for some edge wear. The corners are NM & it retains its original surface gloss...a fantastic card for its age of this legendary, groundbreaking fighter.
