The Seychelles 100 Rupee banknote was released in 2001 by the Central Bank of Seychelles.The note is in red and orange color combinations and is 151 x 75 mm in size. The banknotes obverse depicts the emblem of Seychelles, the nations map, a vieille babone cecile fish, a pitcher plant, and a gold foil sailfish. On the reverse of the note are cowrie shells lining up at the upper left, a palm tree, bridled tern birds, and a land tortoise. The banknote comes with a windowed security thread with a demetalized CBS, a watermark and registration device that reflect a turtle. It also carries the signature of Governor Norman Weber. This particular Seychelles 100 rupee banknote is in uncirculated condition.
