I am delighted to offer for sale this pair of lovely vase in blush ware, depicting what looks like plums. Hand painted, with lots of gilding.

These come to you in great condition - no chips, cracks or repairs that I can see. Some crazing - to be expected. Wear to the gilding on handles and top rim.

Marked to the base with the hand painted number 4827. There are no other markings, hence why I'm unsure of their origin. They look to me like they could be from Austria, perhaps Vienna. They do have a continental look, but I'm no expert on these things.

Certainly seem to be antique, perhaps Victorian. However, the handles seem to me to have an 'arts and crafts' look about them. I'd be glad to hear from anyone who can guide me about these.

Measure around 10" tall.

Very decorative and sought after by interior decorators.
