The back of this 143 x 65 mm paper money features Pengrajin Tenun or weaving craftsmen and Pandai Sikek - Sumatera Barat (Sikek Beach in West Sumatra). It also shows a woman with a handloom, wearing a native costume. The Indonesia 5,000 Rupiah banknote has a solid security thread and a portrait of a national heroine Tjut Meutia.
