This elegant, scallop-rimmed, snowy white porcelain, oval serving platter is decorated with
garland of pink and yellow roses encircled by a glistening, 22K gold-encrusted band.
The bottom is labeled with a green "M R France" maker's mark and a red "M. Redon Limoges" decorator's mark.
Redon used their green "M R France" backstamp from approximately 1891 to 1896 and their red "M. Redon Limoges" backstamp circa the 1890s. The company was re-named La Porcelaine Limousine in 1906.
