Gladding McBean, Los Angeles, CA  1890-present     This circa 1920-1930's four tile set is a wonderful example of the work done by GMB.   The tiles were made with rich, red clay and there are multiple glazes with satiny to glossy finishes seven colors.   The beautiful floral pattern has lots of nice detailing.  There is some very minor edge wear and one visible corner chip (see photo #2).   Each tile measures 6" x 6" x 1/2" thick.
