There is fraying to the top/bottom of spine and the corners of covers are worn. All pages are very clean and tightly bound (688 pages) with no foxing. Previous owner name in pencil on first blank page. Book remains in good condition. A clean, solid copy of a rare and very early edition.

Early books from Charles Darwin are scarce and very collectible. They are appreciating in value rapidly. This is an especially early edition!
