You are buying four (4) authentic, antique
Delinieres / Bernardaud ramekin and saucer sets
dating, approximately, from
1895 to 1915.
These elegant, ivory-toned porcelain ramekins and saucers are decorated with
plump, pink roses and garland of gray-green filigree and flowers.
The scalloped rims are trimmed with glistening, 22K gold. The website Replacements identifies this pattern as 'BER247'.
The bottoms of the ramekins are labeled with a green, R. Delinieres & Co., "D & Co. France" maker's mark and a "Fire Proof" designation. The bottoms of the saucers are labeled with a green, "D & Co. France" maker's mark, a red, "L. Bernardaud & Cie. Limoges" decorator's mark and a red, "Higgins & Seiter New York" retailer's mark. The partnership between Léonard Bernardaud and Rémi Delinières began in
1895.
Higgins & Seiter went out of business in
1915.
