Ives 126 caboose, made between 1904 and 1909 only. Four wheels, 6.5” in length, white and black lithographed frame, two open rectangular window on each cupola side, lithographed multi-panel arched baggage door, window lithographed on each side of doorway “FAST FREIGHT” at top, “NO. 126” below left window, “CABOOSE” below right window, sans-serif lettering, steps at each corner, and hook couplers. This example is in Very Good (C6) condition. The doors are incorrect for the piece. A rare piece of Ives - over a century old!
