You are bidding on a Brand New Kirkey 18" Wide 10 Degree Layback, Intermediate Full Containment Racing Seat with complete Head & Shoulder Kit & all Black Covers (Kirkey Part #'s 89180KIT).

These seats are regularly used in Sprint Cars and Midgets, including chassis from Triple X, Maxim, J&J, Eagle, JEI, Schnee, Shaw, Beast, Stealth, Spike, Bullet, Twister, etc. These seats are also used in New England-style DIRT Modifieds, such as Bicknell, Troyer, Teo, & Ozcar, as well as numerous other forms of motorsports applications.

Kirkey's Containment seat is designed for the short track racer who wants the added safety of a containment seat at a price they can afford.

Constructed from TIG welded .100" thick 5052 grade aluminum. Additional MIG welding adds strength

Contoured elongated bottom for added thigh and hip support

Right side leg extension built in, left side cut back for easy entry, exit

Designed to accommodate all head and neck restraints

Reinforced rib and shoulder restraints have extra 1/2" energy absorbing padding directly on the seat

Vertical and lateral adjustable head restraint uses molded, high density, energy absorbing impact pads to eliminate upholstery

Left side head and shoulder restraint is shortened to allow easy entry and exit

Lap and sub-belt openings have molded rubber grommets to eliminate belt wear

***How to measure for a seat: In the seated position, using a straight edge, measure across the hips at the widest point. This measurement is the width of seat that you need.
