Seo Young Ji (Han Ji Hye) was from a poor upbringing and worked as hard as she could to better herself. She went to see a plastic surgeon, hoping that by changing her appearance she would have a better future. The surgeon, a beautfiul young woman called Jeong Ah Mi (Song Seon Mi), asked SYJ for a favor. JAM had been set up on a blind date with Kim Jun Woo (Kim Suk Hoon), but she really had no interest in going. So she asked SYJ to go under false pretense. SYJ agreed to help out with the intention to turn the guy off but the blind date was a hit and the two started dating.
Add to the equation Choi Do Kyeong (Kwon Oh Joong), a poor but ambitious social climber, who would do anything to marry rich. He rejected SYJ as she was poor and did his best to go after JAM.
Secret Lovers is the latest K-drama from MBC, which addresses the most important questions of all – is love reason enough to marry someone, or should you be looking for an equal in both social status and knowledge?
Comments:
This is one of my favorite K-dramas — the actors are all very good;I liked the chem of HJY & Kim Suk Hoon the other actors too like Kwon Oh Joong who was very funny, Joo Hyun as HJH’s father was just superb! I highly recommend this drama — a must-see!
This drama very well & natural.
This drama was OK, but it was still good =] kinda funny in some parts but I LOVE THE OST in this drama.
I love this movie lovvvvvveeeee it is very mature love yal all
I watched & finished this drama again for 3rd time & never get tired of it! one of my favorite kdramas of all time, it’s simple, focusing on the love of four people unlike other dramas with too many annoying characters, this one is straightforward, it had some touching moments, funny moments with Do gyeong & the doctor & of course the 2 leads’ love story is so unique, they met thru a proxy blind date but turned out they will really fall for each other! I luv the ost also if i can find it I really would be happy to get to d/l it:) I luv the chem of kim suk hoon & han ji hye i give this 4/5 stars two thumbs up! It may be an old drama but compared to some new kdramas I’d rather see this many times more!!
