Up for auction is a rare, 1942-1944 Japanese propaganda booklet from Borneo, Dutch East Indies. This exquisite piece shows in full color the imagery used to try to get the Indonesians to assimilate to Japanese culture and occupation. This item measures 7” wide x 10” high. It is worn but still sturdy. It is  readable and does show extreme wear from surviving World War II. Since it was recovered in 1945, it has never seen the light of day until now.
