An essential detail for any traction maintenance depot. These portable locomotive access platforms are a very common site in any modern image depot, giving drivers & engineering staff easy, portable access to locomotives and rolling stock.
A laser cut kit to build a pair of Portable Locomotive Access Platforms. The kit builds one left and one right-hand platform, with lots of laser engraved detail for a very realistic finish, including tread-plate platform, steps & added wheel detail. Perfect for any traction maintenance depot but can also be used in bus & lorry depots, workshops, factories and warehouses too.
Made from laserboard and very straightforward to build. Tweezers and a fine tipped glue applicator are essential when building this kit. Can be easily painted with acrylic paints.

Tools Required (Essential!):
- Deluxe Materials Roket Card Glue or Laser Cut Kit Glue (Recommended) - A fine tipped applicator is essential.
- Acrylic paints
- A very sharp craft knife
Step-by-step instructions are included giving great results. Some small components included which will require careful handling. Fully compatible with all model railway brands & buildings including Hornby, Bachmann, Superquick and Metcalfe.
All kits are produced at and dispatched from our studio in Cornwall in Board Backed, Do Not Bend envelopes ensuring our kits reach you just as they should!
