These were purchased at an electronics wholesale company liquidation last year, and they were brand new in an unlabeled bulk bag.  We packaged them in heavy Ziplok bags for resale.  The only markings are an adhesive pull tab which reads "Remove After Washing," and a "+" under the tab.  Presumably, they require a driver circuit of some kind (like a speaker, rather than a self contained buzzer / sounder, where you simply apply voltage).
