Compared to typical cables, the new flat form offers a number of advantages.
Because of the cable's smaller size and weight, it can fit through tight places and around corners, as well as behind skirting boards and under carpets.
As the tensile force is evenly distributed between the conductors and insulation, the cable's strength and endurance are improved.
With adhesive, double-sided tape, or clips, the wires can be readily fastened to walls and surfaces.
These straight through network patch cables are suitable for connecting a PC to a network switch, hub, router, or cable or ADSL modem.
It may also be used to link an Xbox or PS3 to your router for online gaming, as well as POE CCTV cameras.
