The Argentina 20 Peso banknote is part of the family of notes issued in 2003 with new vignettes. This particular note is in uncirculated condition. The banknotes obverse features a painting by an Argentine prominent artist Prilidiano Pueyrredon titled Retrato de Manuelita Rosas.The banknote also depicts military leader and former governor of Buenos Aires Juan Manuel de Rosas wearing a military uniform. An unknown manuscript is also shown in the background. The reverse of the banknote displays ships on Parana river in Combate de la Vuelta de Obligado or the Battle of Vuelta de Obligado. Military trophies, as well as the Coat of Arms of Argentina, are visible. This 155 x 65 mm paper note has a solid security thread with a demetallized BCRA $20. Its watermarks include an image of Juan Manuel de Rosas and an electrotype JMR.
