German Typefaces “Deutsches Schriftschaffen” (1955) Published by Deutscher Drucker


150pp, printed through in black, red and blue, being an almanack of popular and new typefaces available in Germany at the time of publication in 1955. Very good composition and layout throughout, as well as a few pages of advertising for printing machinery and ancillary goods at the end. Original printed thin card wrappers, cover by Dorwald.


Approx. 230x313mm., wear to top and foot of blue cloth-covered backstrip, 80mm split to the join at the foot of lower edge of back cover. Internally with some light peripheral browning to page edges. Three pages have been earmarked by small brown paper strips which have been glued to the upper edge of page. Scarce.
