G.S.P Platinum Plating Solution (Rhodium Substitute) 100ml

This solution requires a plating machine with an amp output of 2 amps (2000mA) or more.

Our G.S.P Platinum Plating Solution contains 5 grams of platinum per litre, and unlike most platinum solutions which plate to a greyish tone, has been formulated to emulate the same bright-white finish as rhodium. It is hard-wearing and makes an excellent, more cost-effective rhodium substitute. Please see the accompanying photograph which shows just how little aesthetic difference there is between a ring plated in rhodium and a ring plated in our platinum plating solution.   

Please note- other platinum solutions are usually 2 gram per litre, this affects how thick they can plate and makes them unsuitable for plating rings. If you want to plate rings with platinum, check the gram per litre content.

All plating solutions require the use of an appropriate plating machine and may require the use of additional preparation/plating solutions depending on the type of metal you are plating over.
