[Elocution] Charles John Plumptre The Culture of Voice and Speech (1874) Inscribed by The Author and a Later Related 1881 Prospectus 

34pp, published by T.J. Allman showing an ink inscription by the author at upper edge to the controversial Anglican Priest, Stewart Duckworth Headlam (slightly clipped at right edge). The text being a lecture given by Plumptre the previous year at King’s College London. Library hand stamp at foot.

Also a 28pp 1881 prospectus for Plumptre’s “King’s College Lectures on Elocution”, published by Trübner & Co. It was a slightly expanded version of the second edition, and the text comprises a preface, index contents, press notices, etc.
