| US 1915 POSTAGE DUES (US+URUGUAY) very interesting cover REFUSED/REBUTS & others Very interesting commercial cover sent in August 18th, 1915, from US paying only internal postage to Uruguay where it was taxed 6c (4c+2c) with Postage Dues stamps for insufficient postage. However, the envelope was unclaimed/refused and returned back to the US by Dec. 7th at NY where it was taxed again initially 6c and later 30c for again insufficient/no postage, this time by the United states Post , but the cover was yet again refused or unclaimed. Very interesting "back and forth" problematic cover that nobody wanted! Hopefully it will finally find a collection to rest! |
