The Venezuela 20,000 Bolivar Fuerte Banknote that features a portrait of Simon Bolivar was issued in 2016 with a dimension of 156 x 69 mm in length and width. The obverse side features Venezuelan political leader Simon Bolivar wearing his military uniform. At the back are two black-hooded red siskin birds, the Parque Nacional El Avila and the coat of arms of Venezuela. A 5.5-mm wide green-to-gold windowed security thread with demetalized BCV 20000 in the scroll is added on the note to enhance its security features. Placing the note under a UV light will show an image of Simon Bolivar and electrotype 20000, the serial number beside the portrait also change color from red to bright orange.
