Neiman Marcus Godinger Treasures Silver Lamb & Gold Lion Salt Pepper Shaker Set

"The lamb with the lion...a child will lead them"

Generally regarded as an artistic symbol of peace, this is a lovely set of plated Lion and the Lamb salt and pepper shakers made by Godinger Silver Art Company for Neiman Marcus.  The set was received as a gift around 30 years ago and has not been used, so is in new old stock condition with just the original cardboard outer sleeve missing.  The set is packaged with a dark green velvet presentation case with separate compartments for the lion and the lamb, foil imprinted with Neiman Marcus inside the lid.  The gold Lion measures 4 inches long by 2.5 inches tall and the Lamb measures 3 inches long by 1.75 inches tall.  Both shakers have  plastic stoppers on the undersides and the original factory stickers are still present on both the lion and the lamb and the bottom of the presentation case.  The peace theme symbolized by this salt and pepper set makes them the perfect choice for Easter Sunday or Christmas celebrations.
