This is a 3D printed version of the SME FD200 Damper kit for the SME 3009 Series 2 / II Improved

It's an accurate representation of the original, and sits nice and snug to the arm lift mechanism, it’s top cap is removable as per the original, and again this is a nice snug fit.

The kit comes complete with 3 off 3D printed paddles that are resin printed, giving a much better finish, matching the lengths of the originals 7mm, 9mm and 13mm, these are held in place on the paddle clamp by the supplied thumbwheel screw, the clamp is a resin 3d print.

Given the high prices that the originals fetch, this kit in my opinion represents good value, and although 3D prints do not have the finished aesthetics of the original moulded parts, this kit will perform and function in the same manner as the original.

(The arm shown in the images is not included but is used as an illustration of the kit fitted)

If you have an earlier version of the 3009 Series II, Improved or Non Improved, without the later Dashpot Jacket, armrest and control arm, then why not look at my offset tank on my other listing, which will fit an unmodified early arm. If you are unsure of which control arm you have, then please look at the last image. If it comes directly out from the pivot point, then this tank will not fit and my modified tank will be required. If it is cranked at an angle, then the tank will fit, however a backwards facing armrest, where the arm is lifted over the rest causes the paddle to clash against the right hand side of the tank quadrant, so this will not work, you will need the forward facing armrest for this kit to work.

If your in any way unsure then please send me an image of your arm with the control arm and armrest clearly shown in the image, and I can advise you as to which kit is required. If you can't find the earlier version listing then please follow this link.
